
Kaw Valley USD 321 is aware of the nationwide data breach of PowerSchool, a service we use for Student Information. It is still unclear if our data was part of this breach. PowerSchool has advised us that they have corrected the issues that lead to the breach.
We are currently awaiting more information and guidance from Powerschool. Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to begin resets of passwords for Parent and Student passwords. We will be sending out more information as soon as possible with any instructions you may need for accessing your accounts.

Kaw Valley USD 321

There will be no school again for Kaw Valley USD 321 tomorrow Friday January 10th, 2025 due to inclement weather. We will try this all again on Monday. Stay warm and stay safe.

Kaw Valley USD 321 will have a 2 hour delay and no AM preschool Thursday, January 9th. Please take extra time to arrive safely. If you will bring your students, let your bus driver know so we can shorten routes. As always, you may keep your child home if you feel it is unsafe. Take your time and arrive safely.

Hello SMGS Family! We just received our What's Cookin' at SMGS Cookbooks--just in time for gift giving!! The cookbooks are hard covered with spiral binding and cost $20 each. ALL proceeds from the sales will directly go toward activities and enrichment opportunities for our SMGS students. If you are interested in purchasing a cookbook(s) for yourself or as a gift, we will be in the office today until 3:00--if you would like to swing by to get one. I ordered enough for you to purchase multiple copies for gift giving. These also will be available after break. Thank you so very much for participating and sharing all of your and your family's favorite recipes! We hope these will be shared for years to come.


Winter break is here! School will not be in session from Friday, December 20, 2024, through Monday, January 6, 2025. Classes resume Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

Mr. Medley celebrated the teachers and staff of St. Marys Grade School with a Countdown to Christmas Break daily "gift". Our gifts tied into Christmas songs/lyrics. Special thank you to our Booster Club for their help with 3 of our days as well to the families who brought in soup and other goodies throughout the week as well.


Congratulations Kolin Schrempp! Kolin got a Pawsitive Call home from Mr. Medley today. Mrs. Mulligan reports that Kolin has displayed such perseverance in working on his goal to improve his reading fluency and comprehension. His winter benchmarks show that his hard work is paying off! Great job Kolin! Go Bears!
