Cardboard Arcade in STEAM- 3rd Grade

Week of the Young child is a fun filled week celebrating early learning, young children, their teachers, families, and communities. We celebrated artsy Tuesday by coloring together in the hall, work together Wednesday by building Dr. Suess hats with cups and plates, tasty Thursday by making a healthy snack with Mr. Lunch, and Family Friday by doing a show and tell of our family or something they like to do with their family.

3rd grade field trip to Milford Nature Center

On April Fools’ Day, Mr. Medley played a harmless prank on some of the teachers by switching their desk chairs around with other teachers. The teachers got payback when Mr. Medley was gone out of state and “decorated” his office for him.

SMGS Autism Awareness Day

The 6th graders did a "Gallery Walk" yesterday. They were looking at the brochures that their classmates made about Ancient Greece. The brochures contained information for one of the main city-states, philosophers, or major wars that we learned about. I was very impressed with how the brochures turned out! -Ms. Serb

Cheers to Charlotte! Charlotte read SO much during spring break that she came to school first thing Monday ready to take AR tests and passed 7 tests already. Mrs. Stallbaumer is so proud that a referral to Mr. Medley was made and a Pawsitive call was completed! Yay Charlotte!!

Congratulations to James for receiving a Pawsitive Call home from Mr. Medley! Mrs. Shobney reports that James has been very respectful and hard working today! We are so proud of you James!

Please be on the lookout for a flyer going home with your students regarding this fundraiser to help with medical and travel expenses for a member of our SMGS family.
